Fans of the popular Indian sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were left in shock as news emerged of Gurucharan Singh, who portrayed the beloved character Sodhi, being reported missing. Singh, known for his portrayal of Roshan Singh Sodhi, had departed for Mumbai on April 22nd but failed to reach his destination, prompting concerns about his whereabouts.

Close friend Ms. Soni disclosed that Singh had been unwell prior to his disappearance, undergoing medical tests and experiencing high blood pressure. She expressed deep concern for his well-being and remained in constant contact with his family, who have filed a missing report in Delhi.

According to the filed complaint, Singh, aged 50, left for Mumbai but never arrived, with his phone unreachable since. Despite being mentally stable, his absence has caused distress among his loved ones. Police investigations, centered around the Palam area of New Delhi, are underway, focusing on tracing his call records and last known whereabouts near Delhi airport.

Singh’s departure from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2020 had left fans speculating about his reasons, with rumors of payment delays circulating. However, the actor chose not to address these rumors directly, stating a desire to move forward with love and respect.
