Two men working as salespersons in a real estate firm have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman throughout the night in their car after spiking her cold drink and sweet. The arrests followed a rape case filed at Miyapur police station based on the woman’s complaint.

According to police, the woman reported that on June 30, she traveled to Miyapur to work as a saleswoman. The two men met her there and later picked her up from her hostel in a car to visit a site in Yadagirigutta. After completing the meeting, the men stopped the car at an under-construction building on their way back, claiming the vehicle had broken down.

In her complaint, the woman stated that she was offered food, which she initially refused. However, the men eventually persuaded her to consume a cold drink and a sweet. Shortly after, she began to feel dizzy.

Taking advantage of her condition, the men allegedly stripped her, touched her inappropriately, and physically abused her, according to a release from the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. They then took turns sexually assaulting her until the early morning hours of July 1. The woman reported experiencing severe body pain following the incident. The men subsequently dropped her back at her hostel and fled the scene.

The Cyberabad Police have arrested the accused and are conducting further investigations. The woman is receiving medical care and support as the legal process continues.

This incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of women working in isolated areas and the need for stricter measures to prevent such crimes.
