Days after Rajya Sabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party Swati Maliwal claimed to have received threats of death and rape after the latter posted a video about the alleged assault by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar, popular YouTuber Dhruv Rathee dismissed “fake allegations” against him on Monday.

Druv Rathee claimed that “perpetrators are pretending to be victims” and that attempts had been made to discredit him on the social media platform X, without naming any specific individuals.
“Misleading accusations directed towards me, frequent threats of death, degrading remarks, orchestrated efforts to discredit me…” Now, I’m accustomed to it,” Dhruv Rathee remarked.

The irony is that those who commit crimes are posing as victims. Who is behind all of this is well known to all. Their goal is to silence me. But that is not going to occur. One Dhruv Rathee can be silenced, but a thousand more will emerge. Jai Hind,” continued the YouTuber.
