WATCH Rinku Singh’s Father Deliver LPG Cylinders, Refuses To Quit Job Despite Money, Fame

Rinku Singh has dominated international cricket since making his debut for India last year. Rinku received an India call-up last year after having a breakout season with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rinku has scored 356 runs at an average of 89.00 and a strike rate of over 176 in 15 games and 11 innings of Twenty20 Internationals for India. He has also scored two half-centuries.

After a widely shared video of his father, Khanchand Singh, delivering LPG cylinders in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, went viral, Rinku became the talk of the town once more. In the video, Khanchand can be seen loading LPG cylinders in a small tempo truck.

This comes after Rinku disclosed that, despite his cricket success, his father would not quit his job. According to the Free Press Journal, he said, “I told my father to relax now that we have enough for him not to haul cylinders, but he still does it and loves his job.”

The cricketer continued, “If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants it.”
