The Wakf Amendment Bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha late on Thursday night after a discussion of more than 12 hours. 128 votes were cast in favour of the bill and 95 against it. Earlier on Wednesday, this bill was passed in the Lok Sabha after a discussion of 12 hours. Now this bill will go to the President. After getting his approval, it will become a law.
