On the occasion of Ram Navami, Ayodhya is witnessing a massive influx of devotees, with the Ram temple doors opening for pilgrims at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The darshan period has been extended by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in honor of the occasion, but no special darshan will be held on that day. Additionally, the earlier passes are no longer valid.
Darshan will start at 3:30 am in the Brahma Muhurta on Ram Navami festival, according to Trust General Secretary Champat Rai. At five in the morning is Ram Lalla’s Shringaar Aarti.
at noon, with the aid of state-of-the-art scientific knowledge, a 5.8 cm light beam struck the god’s forehead. An instrument specifically designed for this purpose was created. This auspicious Ram Navami event was made possible by a group of ten distinguished Indian scientists who are stationed at the Ram Mandir. Using a combination of mirrors and lenses, sunlight was carefully focused onto the statue’s forehead for three to five minutes, beginning at noon.
Scientists from a top government institute created an intricate system of mirrors and lenses on a commission from the temple trust. This mechanism represents an important achievement in science and engineering and is officially known as the “Surya Tilak mechanism.”
The curtain will be drawn for a brief while when food is offered to God. The darshan sequence will run until eleven p.m. Following this, Bhog and Shayan Aarti will take place as usual.
