YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, popularly known as ‘Flying Beast,’ and his wife, Ritu Rathee, are facing a turbulent period in their marriage, with rumors of separation and allegations of infidelity against Taneja surfacing online. Rathee recently addressed the situation in an Instagram video, directly confronting the speculation and offering insights into their personal struggles.
In the emotional video, Rathee confirmed that she sought spiritual guidance from Guru Premanand Govind Sharan, as previously hinted in a viral video. However, she pushed back against the narrative that has labeled Taneja as a “cheater,” urging people to refrain from jumping to conclusions. “Yes, that was me [in the video], but people needed some spice,” she remarked.
Rathee continued by rejecting any portrayal of herself as a victim, stating, “Am I an abla nari [helpless woman]? No, I am not.” She pointed out that women who endure real hardships deserve more attention, emphasizing, “The maid who comes to your house is abla nari. She faces countless hardships in her home.”
Rathee expressed her deep gratitude to Taneja for supporting her growth over their eight-year relationship, noting that he helped shape her into the strong, independent woman she is today. “He made me equally capable of nurturing my children alone,” she said, alluding to their two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.
The video also highlighted Rathee’s frustration with public interference in their private matters, stressing that any issues between them were personal. “If I wanted to make it public, I have Instagram to announce it,” she said.
Acknowledging the complexities of marriage, Rathee candidly shared, “There are many things that can sting between a husband and wife. Something must have happened. It hurt him this time, and it hurt me too. He thought he was right, and I thought I was right.”

Gaurav Taneja, 38, is an IIT Kharagpur graduate and former airline pilot, having worked with both IndiGo and AirAsia. He was suspended from his pilot duties after raising concerns about AirAsia’s safety practices, a move that garnered widespread attention. Since then, Taneja has focused on his YouTube career, where he runs three successful channels: “Flying Beast,” “Fit Muscle TV,” and “Rasbhari Ke Papa.”
