Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Manipur on Saturday. This is his first visit to the state after violence broke out in May 2023. The Prime Minister first visited Churachandpur in Manipur. This Kuki-dominated area was one of the worst affected areas during the violence. PM laid the foundation of several development projects worth more than Rs 7,300 crore in Churachandpur.
