PM Modi Hits Back at Rahul’s ‘Shakti’ Remark, Vows to Protect Women’s Empowerment

In a fiery retort to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent ‘Shakti’ remark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition during a public meeting in Telangana’s Jagtial on Monday.

Addressing a gathered crowd, Prime Minister Modi vehemently defended the essence of ‘Shakti’, symbolizing the empowerment of women in Indian society. He expressed his readiness to sacrifice his life for the welfare and protection of the mothers and sisters of the nation, whom he referred to as embodiments of ‘Shakti’.

The Prime Minister questioned the motives of the opposition, particularly targeting the INDI Alliance, which recently hosted a rally in Mumbai where they purportedly declared their fight against ‘Shakti’. Modi emphasized that for him, every daughter, mother, and sister represents the epitome of strength and resilience.

Directing his remarks towards Rahul Gandhi’s statement, Modi expressed his gratitude for the support of ‘Nari Shakti’ (women empowerment) and reaffirmed his commitment to championing their cause. He also accepted the challenge posed by those who oppose ‘Shakti’, asserting his willingness to defend it at any cost.

Furthermore, Modi criticized the dichotomy within the political arena, highlighting two contrasting ideologies regarding ‘Shakti’ – one advocating its destruction and the other advocating its reverence. He called upon the people to make a decisive choice during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, urging them to ensure the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

The Prime Minister concluded by appealing to the electorate to support the BJP, emphasizing that their support would serve as a catalyst for his continued dedication to their welfare.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a gathering in Mumbai, had criticized the ruling NDA government, equating them with the powerful Hindu symbol of ‘Shakti’. Gandhi’s remarks were met with a strong rebuttal from PM Modi, who reiterated his commitment to women’s empowerment and societal progress.
