Family sources have disclosed that Charan Kaur and her husband, parents of the late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely known as Sidhu Moosewala, are anticipating the arrival of a new member to their family. As reported by Indianexpress.com, Charan Kaur, Moosewala’s mother, is expected to give birth soon, despite her age of 58, while her husband is 60 years old.

While an official statement has not been released by Moosewala’s parents, family sources have verified the news. This development comes after the tragic murder of the renowned singer on May 29, 2022. Moosewala, who had ventured into politics unsuccessfully by contesting the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa in 2022, was fatally shot by assailants in his car in Jawaharke village of Mansa district.

Sidhu Moosewala, known for his immense popularity among the youth and his proficiency in composing and producing his own songs, was regarded as one of the wealthiest Punjabi singers. Despite his untimely demise, his posthumously released songs have garnered millions of views, showcasing his enduring influence in the music industry.

Following Moosewala’s tragic death, his parents have been at the forefront of a movement seeking justice for their son. Notably, the music video for his final song prominently featured a flag bearing the message “Justice for Sidhu Moosewala”, underscoring the ongoing pursuit for accountability.
