An undated video of Mukesh Ambani, the billionaire chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani taking a serene nighttime stroll in Switzerland has surfaced online. The footage, shared by an Instagram fan page, shows Nita Ambani dressed in a red co-ord set and Mukesh Ambani in a formal suit, with minimal security accompanying them.
The Ambani family is no stranger to Switzerland, having visited the European country several times. Notably, in September 2020, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, their three children, and their respective partners stayed at the luxurious Bürgenstock Resort. According to Jonas Reif, a spokesperson for the resort, the Presidential suite at Bürgenstock starts at $28,000 per night, while the Royal suite is priced at $46,000. This means the Ambani family’s stay at the resort cost a minimum of $74,000 per night (approximately ₹62 lakh), enjoying amenities such as four hotels, two spas, and ten bars and restaurants.
In addition, Switzerland was the venue for their elder son Akash Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities in 2019. The celebrations, held in the picturesque town of St Moritz, featured a Winter Wonderland theme and were attended by notable celebrities including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Karan Johar.
Following the grand wedding of their younger son, Anant Ambani, last month, Mukesh and Nita Ambani traveled to Europe. They spent time in Paris during the Summer Olympics 2024, where Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, was re-elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from India at the IOC’s 142nd session.
