Mass Wedding Ceremony to be Hosted by Ambanis Ahead of Anant and Radhika Merchant’s Wedding

As part of the pre-wedding celebrations for their son Anant Ambani, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani are set to host a mass wedding ceremony for underprivileged couples. The event is scheduled to take place on July 2 at the Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar, according to a report by news agency ANI.

The ceremony will commence at 4:30 pm, marking a philanthropic gesture by the Ambanis ahead of the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Anant, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, will marry Radhika, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12.

Invitations for the wedding have begun to circulate, featuring a traditional red and gold card. The three-day wedding festivities will start on July 12 with the Shubh Vivah or wedding function, where guests are expected to don Indian traditional attire. The following day, July 13, will see the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony with a dress code of Indian formal. The celebrations will culminate on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception, where guests are encouraged to wear Indian chic.

Earlier this month, Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to present the wedding invitation and seek blessings. She expressed her joy and gratitude after her visit, highlighting the temple’s recent developments and cleanliness.

In addition to the upcoming mass wedding ceremony, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant previously hosted a three-day pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The event featured performances by Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, as well as an exclusive performance by international artist Rihanna. Renowned singer Diljit Dosanjh also performed, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
