In the wake of Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda’s arrest, her daughter Khushi Gowda took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message dedicated to her mother. Pavithra Gowda, along with actor Darshan and 13 others, was arrested last week in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy, a 33-year-old resident of Chitradurga.
On Sunday, Khushi posted a touching photo on her Instagram Stories, showing her mother kissing her forehead. Alongside the candid picture, Khushi wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to you my everything @pavithragowda777_official,” accompanied by an evil eye and a love emoji. Khushi has not yet publicly addressed her mother’s arrest.
Contrastingly, Darshan’s 15-year-old son spoke out about the case, condemning the negative comments and offensive language directed at his father. He expressed his feelings on Instagram, saying, “Thank you all for all the bad comments and offensive language towards my father and not considering that I am a 15-year-old with feelings, and even during this hard time when my mom and dad required support cursing at me won’t change that you everyone.”
The case revolves around the murder of Renuka Swamy, who was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. Swamy, an employee at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga, allegedly sent vulgar messages to Pavithra Gowda, prompting a violent response. According to police, Pavithra, Darshan, and their associates were involved in the assault that led to Swamy’s death. His body was reportedly disposed of in a canal at Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, in the presence of Darshan. Eight of the accused have implicated Darshan in their statements to the authorities.
