Identity Of Chinese ‘Spy’ Connected To Prince Andrew Finally Out

British authorities have revealed the identity of an alleged Chinese spy, Yang Tengbo, who has been banned from the UK and is said to have had connections with Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles. Until recently, Yang was only known by the alias “H6,” but his identity was disclosed after an anonymity order was lifted on Monday. Last week, Yang, who has also been photographed with former Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May, lost his appeal against the UK’s decision to ban him from entering the country.

Here’s what we know about Yang:

    1. Born on March 21, 1974, Yang, also known as Chris Yang, studied at a university in China and worked as a junior civil servant for several years, according to documents presented at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission.
    2. He moved to the UK in 2002, spending a year studying language in London, followed by a master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy at the University of York.
    3. Since at least 2005, Yang has split his time between the UK and China. In 2013, he was granted “indefinite leave” to remain in the UK. He is listed as a director of Hampton Group International, a business consultancy that acts as a “bridge” between China and the rest of the world.
    4. Yang is also the founder-partner of Pitch@Palace, an initiative by Prince Andrew to support entrepreneurs. It was later revealed that he had forged his connections with the British royal.
    5. Yang’s legal troubles began in November 2021, when he was forced to hand over his digital devices. In February 2023, he was removed from a flight bound for Beijing, and in July, the Home Office confirmed he would be excluded from the UK due to his alleged involvement in covert activities on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.
