Overnight rains caused flooding in Kolkata and surrounding areas of West Bengal on Tuesday. Seven people have been reported dead so far, most of them due to electrocution. Roads are flooded with water up to two to three feet deep. Kolkata received approximately 247.5 mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
