For the first time, preparations are on to appoint a president in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). This responsibility will be given to a senior BJP leader. After the BJP national president is elected, the NDA president will be appointed. A leader of an NDA constituent party from South India said that this responsibility can be given to a national leader like Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
