IndiGo flight ATR76 from Ahmedabad to Diu caught fire in the engine just before takeoff on Wednesday. There were 60 passengers on the flight. As the plane was preparing for takeoff on the runway, the pilot sent an emergency ‘mayday’ call to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the flight was called off.
