Double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has been eliminated from the BWF Badminton World Championship. In the quarter-finals played in Paris, she was defeated by Indonesia’s young player Putri Kusuma Wardani 21-14, 13-21, 21-16. India’s challenge also ended in the mixed doubles event.
