Chandrababu Naidu Swearing-In Today: PM Modi And Host Of Celebs To Attend Event

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who led the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata Party-Janasena alliance to a sweeping victory in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, will be sworn in as the Chief Minister on Wednesday, June 12. The grand ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport on the outskirts of Vijayawada at approximately 11:27 am.

The event is expected to be a star-studded affair, featuring prominent actors from the South Indian film industry. Notable attendees include Chiranjeevi, his son Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun. Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, who is vying for the deputy chief minister position, is Chiranjeevi’s youngest brother, while Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are Kalyan’s nephews.

Other celebrities likely to attend include megastars Rajinikanth, his wife, and Mohan Babu. Jr NTR, Chandrababu Naidu’s nephew, has also been invited.

In addition to the celebrities, several key NDA allies will be present at the ceremony, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda. Several chief ministers are also expected to attend, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The TDP has extended invitations to farmers who contributed land for the construction of the Amaravati capital project and to individuals allegedly harassed during the previous YSR Congress regime, according to reports.

In the assembly elections, the NDA alliance secured 164 out of 175 seats, with the TDP winning 135 seats, Janasena securing 21 seats, and the BJP obtaining eight seats. In the Lok Sabha elections, the NDA alliance won 21 out of the 25 seats.
