Chandigarh Shivers At 3.6 C, Punjab Haryana Extrememly Cold

The persistent cold wave that is affecting Punjab and Haryana is still going strong, with Wednesday’s minimum temperatures in many areas being below average.

According to the MeT department, Ambala had the lowest minimum temperature in Haryana, 3.4 degrees Celsius, which was extremely cold.

While it was 5 degrees in Sirsa and 5.6 degrees in Bhiwani, the low temperature in Hisar was 5.8 degrees.

Narnaul recorded a low of six degrees Celsius at night, while Karnal recorded 6.1 degrees.
The minimum temperature in Chandigarh decreased even more, coming down to 3.6 degrees from Tuesday’s 6 degrees.

Gurdaspur and Bathinda in Punjab saw extreme cold, with lows of 3 and 3.4 degrees Celsius, respectively. While Ludhiana shivered at 4.1 degrees Celsius, Patiala experienced biting cold with a low of 3.6 degrees.

In Amritsar, the lowest recorded temperature was 5.7 degrees Celsius. The lowest recorded temperatures in Faridkot and Pathankot were 4 and 5.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
