DHAKA: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) achieved a massive victory in Thursday’s general elections, securing 209 out of 299 seats. Crossing the majority threshold of 150, the BNP is set to form the new government. Out of 286 declared results, the party’s landslide win marks a significant political shift as the country returns to stability after an 18-month interim period.
