New Delhi: Quick commerce companies like Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy have dropped their ’10-minute delivery’ promise following government intervention. In a meeting with Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, it was decided that business models should not risk workers’ lives. The government is now drafting a comprehensive policy to ensure social security and better working conditions for gig workers.
