In a heart-wrenching turn of events, actress Divya Seth Shah’s daughter, Mihika Shah, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 5, in Mumbai. The young woman’s sudden demise has left her family and friends in deep sorrow. According to sources close to the family and as reported by India Today, Mihika initially developed a fever, which was later followed by a seizure. Despite the family’s best efforts, she could not be saved.
A prayer meeting was held on August 8 to honor Mihika’s memory, where family and friends gathered to pay their respects. On Saturday, Divya Seth Shah, known for her roles in films like Jab We Met and Dil Dhadakne Do, took to Instagram to share a poignant selfie with her late daughter. The photo, which shows the mother-daughter duo smiling warmly at the camera, was accompanied by a heartfelt note Mihika had written for her mother on her birthday a few years ago.
In the emotional caption, Mihika expressed her deep love for her mother, writing, “When I look at you, I see the purest love I’ll ever know, Every wounded soul finds their way to you, in your care they heal and grow, Divya, gods gift, my blessing from above, who’s love is stronger than the eye can see, in 8.1 billion people on earth mama, your the perfect mother for me, my Dibi, I love you .’ Divya added, “No one in this Lifetime or any other Will Love Me like You did Mihika I hope you can See Me I promise to be Brave I will do everything We planned See you on the Beach And in the Jungle honey Into the Light now.”
