“Wait and Promise of Five Centuries has been Fulfilled”: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared today that “the wait and promise of five centuries has been fulfilled” with the Pran Pratishta ceremony of Ram Lalla in the grand Ayodhya temple. The event was marked by emotional tributes, expressions of gratitude, and the recognition of a historic achievement that resonated across the nation.

Shah, in a post on social media (X), expressed his overwhelming emotions on witnessing the consecration of Ram Lalla in the grand temple, describing it as an “unforgettable day for crores of devotees of Prabhu Shri Ram.” He emphasized that no fear or terror could deter the resolve and faith that led to the construction of the temple at the Ram janmabhoomi in the holy city of Ayodhya.

The Home Minister extended his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in the realization of this long-awaited dream. Shah paid homage to the countless individuals who persisted in the struggle for centuries, enduring insults and tortures, yet never deviating from the path of religion.

Shah visited the Birla Temple in Delhi to mark the occasion, underscoring the significance of the day.

Meanwhile, BJP national president JP Nadda also shared his sentiments on social media (X), stating that after more than 500 years of continuous struggle, the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya was an emotional and holy moment. He urged everyone to dedicate themselves to the ideals and life values of Lord Shri Ram.

Nadda expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his dedication during the 11-day-long rituals, acknowledging the joy that resonated not only across the country but also worldwide.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, attending a ‘keerthana’ recitation at Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, highlighted the connection between Kanchipuram and Ayodhya, both considered as two of the seven ‘Moksha Nagaris.’ She praised the rich cultural heritage of India, drawing connections from ancient scriptures.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis sought blessings at the Shri Ram Temple in Zingabai Takli in Nagpur, while Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari described the Ayodhya event as a “supernatural moment.” He expressed gratitude to the Kar Sevaks and Ram devotees, emphasizing that the construction of the grand-divine temple is a crucial step towards India moving closer to Ramrajya.
