    Voting for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections ends; 60% voter turnout till 5 pm

    Voting for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections has concluded. Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., 60.13% voter turnout was recorded. Begusarai recorded the highest voter turnout at 67.32%, while Sheikhpura recorded the lowest at 52.36%. Patna, the capital, recorded a 55.02% voter turnout. Voting at 56 highly sensitive booths continued until 5 p.m. Voters already lined up will now be able to cast their votes.
