Vikassheel Insaan Party Chief Mukesh Sahani’s Father Murdered in Bihar’s Darbhanga

In a shocking incident, Jitan Sahani, the father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief and former state minister Mukesh Sahani, was brutally murdered at his home in the Supaul Bazar area of Darbhanga. Local police have confirmed that Sahani’s mutilated body was found inside his residence, with initial reports indicating that he was attacked with a sharp weapon.

The gruesome discovery has sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Darbhanga Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jagunath Reddy has confirmed the incident, stating that a detailed investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding the murder and to apprehend those responsible.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation from various political leaders. Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and called for swift justice. “The murder of Mukesh Sahani’s father is tragic. Senior officials have arrived at the scene, and an investigation is underway. The culprit will not be spared; efforts are underway to locate them and bring them to justice,” he stated.

Independent MP from Purnea, Pappu Yadav, criticized the state government’s handling of law and order, highlighting a recent surge in violent crimes. “A series of murders have happened in Bihar in the last few days… The state government has got nothing to do with law and order in the state. Bihar is in the grips of criminals… Is this Nitish Kumar’s good governance?” Yadav questioned.

Adding to the chorus of criticism, Rashtriya Janata Dal Spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav condemned the state’s current situation. “What is going on in Bihar? No day goes by without a murder… The Chief Minister is in an unconscious state of mind. He might not even know by now that something has happened in the state. No political leader is safe in Bihar… The system has collapsed. Bihar is at the mercy of gods,” he remarked.
