Renowned Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, 81, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Details regarding his health condition are awaited. Just an hour before news of his hospitalization emerged, Bachchan shared a cryptic post on his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever.” Alongside, he posted a video from his recent appearance at an ISPL event.

In the shared video, Bachchan is seen enjoying memorable moments with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, during the match, with a caption that reads, “T 4950 – Aankh kholke dekh lo, kaan lagake sun lo, Majhi Mumbai ki hogi Jai Jaikaar, yeh baat ab maanlo.”

Earlier this year, Bachchan underwent wrist surgery, as mentioned in his January blog post, where he also discussed his involvement in ISPL activities despite the medical procedure. Despite health challenges, he remained committed to shooting for his upcoming projects.

In recent years, Bachchan has faced health issues, including a battle with Covid-19. Last year, he disclosed having medical restrictions that prevented him from attending the 2023 Comic Con in San Diego, where he was supposed to join the team of “Kalki 2989 AD” for the poster launch.
