Trishneet Arora, founder and CEO of cyber solution company TAC Security, has been named along with superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the Hurun India Rich List 2024. While Shah Rukh Khan has a net worth of 3,700 crore, Arora with an impressive net worth of Rs 1,100 crore stands at 1463th position, which further highlights his noteworthy contributions to innovation and technology.
Trishneet has emerged as the youngest Punjabi who has made a place in this list and the sixth youngest Indian at 30, to have made an entry into this list.
Dropping out of school in Class VIII, and following his passion for technology, Arora saw his business, TAC Security, blossom into a major force in the world when he started it in Ludhiana at the age of 19. Under his direction, TAC Security has offered cutting-edge cybersecurity services to well-known companies and international government organizations.
Not only does Arora’s inclusion on the Hurun India Rich List 2024 acknowledge his financial success, but it also serves as evidence of his exceptional entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, businessman Gautam Adani and his family have surpassed Mukesh Ambani to take the top spot on the 2024 Hurun India Rich List with a wealth of ₹ 11.6 lakh crore. Adani ranked fourth on the list in 2020. There has been an increase of 95% in Adani’s wealth since last year. His ascent can be attributed to his recuperation after the Hindenburg report, which drew heavy criticism.
According to The Times of India, the report shows that the nation now has a record 334 billionaires.
The report goes on to say that last year, India produced a billionaire every five days. The nation had 259 billionaires as of 2023. The Hurun India Rich List has grown significantly, now including over 1,500 people with a net worth of at least ₹ 1,000 crore. As compared to seven years ago, there has been a 150% increase, according to Business Today. This time, there are 1,539 ultra-rich people on the list—a notable 220 increase from the previous year.
