Gold and silver prices fell on January 8. According to IBJA, 24-carat gold dropped ₹902 to ₹1,35,773 per 10 grams, while silver fell ₹12,174 to ₹2,35,826 per kg from yesterday’s record ₹2,48,000. Ajay Kedia said investors are booking profits, but prices may rise again, with silver seen reaching ₹2.75 lakh and gold ₹1.5 lakh.
