The world’s sixth largest earthquake has struck Russia’s eastern peninsula Kamchatka. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the magnitude of the earthquake was 8.8. It occurred at 4:54 am on Wednesday as per Indian time. According to Reuters, a tsunami up to 4 meters high has hit Kamchatka. Due to this, many buildings have been damaged.
