The Supreme Court has refused to stay the Waqf Act and has expressed concern over the violence happening across the country in protest against it. The SG said that it should not seem that violence can be used to exert pressure. A bench of CJI Sanjeev Khanna and Justice PV Sanjay Kumar, Justice KV Vishwanathan is hearing the case.
