The National Film Awards ceremony took place on Tuesday at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Draupadi Murmu presented Malayalam actor Mohanlal with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey were honored with the Best Actor award for their roles in Jawaan and 12th Fail, respectively. Rani Mukerji won the Best Actress award for her role in Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway.
