The Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm alert in 31 states and union territories of the country including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh today. Light to heavy rains may occur here. However, there is also an alert of intense heat in some parts of these states. 45 people died in these districts due to lightning, tree and wall falling.
