The central government finally took strict action on Saturday, four days after the Indigo airline crisis began. The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) instructed Indigo to refund passengers for cancelled tickets by 8 PM on Sunday. The airline was also ordered to return passengers’ luggage within 48 hours. In addition, the government directed other airlines not to charge more than the stipulated airfare.
