The BJP released its first list of 71 candidates for the Bihar elections on Tuesday. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has been nominated from Tarapur, and Vijay Sinha from Lakhisarai. The list also includes the names of 13 ministers and nine women. The party had 56 MLAs contesting 71 seats. Of these, 46 have been repeated, while 10 have lost their tickets.
