The administration has intensified its preparations to make Chandigarh slum-free. After clearing the Club slum, the administration’s next target is the Dhanas slum. The Estate Department is planning to bulldoze over 800 slums across approximately 10 acres. These slums are temporarily located on farmers’ private land.
