Teen Granted Bail in Fatal Porsche Crash Case, To Stay With His Aunt

A local court in Pune has granted bail to a 17-year-old boy involved in a tragic car crash that resulted in the deaths of two engineers. The incident occurred on May 19, when the teen, allegedly driving a Porsche at high speed while intoxicated, rammed into a bike in Kalyani Nagar, killing software engineers Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.

The teen, currently held at an observation home, is expected to be released on Tuesday. Following his release, he will reside with his aunt.

The boy’s parents, Vishal and Shivani Agrawal, have also been arrested on charges of allegedly attempting to tamper with evidence by swapping his blood samples.

This development comes just days after the Pune police submitted a comprehensive final report to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), detailing all the evidence against the accused.

The case has garnered significant attention, with concerns about juvenile justice and the involvement of the parents in the alleged tampering of evidence. The court’s decision to grant bail has stirred public interest, as the legal proceedings continue to unfold.
