Swati Maliwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament and former Chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, has accused Delhi ministers and AAP leaders of endangering her relatives’ lives by disclosing their personal details on social media. The allegations come amid the ongoing investigation into Arvind Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar.

In a series of posts on social media platform X, Maliwal criticized Delhi ministers for spreading false information and targeting her because she “spoke the truth.” She refuted claims made by AAP leaders regarding a corruption case filed against her, asserting that the case was fabricated and had been stayed by the High Court for 1.5 years due to lack of evidence of any financial wrongdoing.

“Since yesterday, Delhi ministers are spreading lies that an FIR has been filed against me for corruption, hence I did all this on the instructions of BJP,” Maliwal wrote. She explained that the FIR in question dates back to 2016 and highlighted that despite this, both the Chief Minister and the Lieutenant Governor had appointed her as the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission twice.

Maliwal accused the AAP leaders of hypocrisy, stating, “According to them, until I filed a complaint against Bibhav Kumar, I was ‘Lady Singham’ and today I have become a BJP agent?”

She expressed grave concerns over the safety of her relatives, claiming that AAP leaders had tweeted personal details, including car numbers, thereby putting their lives at risk. “They’re putting my relatives’ lives in danger by tweeting their details using their car numbers,” Maliwal stated. She also accused the party of deploying a troll army against her and trying to discredit her by soliciting personal videos for leakage.

In a disturbing turn of events, Maliwal had accused Bibhav Kumar of physical assault at the Chief Minister’s residence on May 13. According to the FIR filed by Maliwal, Kumar allegedly screamed at her without provocation before slapping her multiple times and kicking her in the chest, stomach, and pelvis.

“The entire troll army was deployed against me just because I spoke the truth. Everyone in the party is being called and told to send Swati’s personal video if they have one, as it has to be leaked,” Maliwal alleged.

Maliwal vowed to take legal action against the AAP leaders for spreading lies and endangering her family. “I will take you to court for every lie you spread!” she declared.
