The Supreme Court has directed the Central Government to make new rules regarding warning labeling on packed food within three months. The court gave this order during the hearing on a PIL. It was demanded that a clear warning should be given on the front of every packed food item. This will help people know how much sugar, salt or harmful fat is present in that item.
