The Supreme Court on Friday delivered its verdict on the issue of stray dogs. The court said that the captured dogs should be released only after sterilization and vaccination, except those dogs that are infected with rabies or whose behavior is aggressive. The court said that the captured dogs should be released. If they are prevented from being captured, a fine of ₹25 thousand and ₹2 lakh will be imposed on the NGO.
