BENGALURU: The Karnataka High Court today reprimanded actor Ranveer Singh for mimicking a sacred deity from the film “Kantara” and calling it a “female ghost.” Justice M. Nagaprasanna observed that being a celebrity does not grant the right to hurt religious sentiments, calling the act “reckless.” However, the court granted interim relief, staying any coercive action until March 2.
