Tamil actress Shruthi Narayanan has addressed the controversy surrounding an alleged casting couch video that recently went viral. The actress hinted that the clip is fake and likely created using AI.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Shruthi shared a video of an influencer demonstrating how easily AI-generated videos can be made. She then expressed her distress over the situation, emphasizing that it is no laughing matter.
“For many of you, spreading such content about me might seem like just a joke or entertainment. But for me and my loved ones, this is an incredibly difficult and painful situation to deal with,” she wrote.
Shruthi Narayanan, a 24-year-old actress from Chennai, has made a name for herself in the Tamil entertainment industry. She gained recognition for her performance in Siragadikka Aasai, a popular Tamil serial on Star Vijay. The show, which has been running since January 2023, features Shruthi in a supporting role alongside well-known actors such as Anila Sreekumar, Sri Deva, and R Sundarrajan. With 649 episodes aired, the series remains a favorite among viewers, and its landmark 650th episode is set to air on March 27.
