Sarfaraz Khan-Ravinder Run Out Mix-Up On Day 1 At Rajkot

After a terrible run-out mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja, debutante Sarfaraz Khan scored a 48-ball half-century, which is the joint fastest by an Indian Test debutant since independence. Sarfaraz Khan left the game at 62. Following his dismissal, Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma expressed frustration.

It took place in James Anderson’s over. Batting in his nineties, Ravindra Jadeja had gone into a shell, driving to mid-on and then signalling for a single. He declined the call, realizing that a fielder was on his way, but Sarfaraz Khan had already moved too far from the crease.

In the dressing room, Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma could be seen tossing his cap in frustration, while Sarfaraz appeared dissatisfied.

“Sarfaraz was dominating in that partnership. Jadeja, I thought had got into a shell, that sometimes creates a mindset where you are not clear about the decision making,” Anil Kumble said on Jio Cinema.   .
