Ridhima Pandit Dismisses Marriage Rumors with Cricketer Shubman Gill

Television actress Ridhima Pandit has unequivocally denied the rumors circulating about her impending marriage to cricketer Shubman Gill. Speculation was rife following a viral report that claimed the ‘Bahu Hamari Rajinikanth’ star was set to tie the knot with Gill in December 2024. However, Ridhima has now set the record straight.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Ridhima posted a video addressing the false reports. “I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists asking about my marriage, but what marriage? I am not getting married and if something important like this were happening in my life, I would announce the news myself. There is no truth to this news,” she clarified.

Ridhima Pandit, known for her roles in popular television shows like ‘Bahu Hamari Rajinikanth’ and ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, as well as her appearance in the first season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, has recently opened up about her experiences on television sets.

In an interview, Ridhima discussed the issue of abuse in the television industry. She shared a personal story involving an executive producer who, she claimed, mentally harassed her during a particularly difficult period when her mother was critically ill.

“It is true that nobody talks about it. There is a certain form of abuse that does follow. In one of my shows, the producers were nice but the EP (Executive Producer) would mentally harass me. It was during that time I started to discover that my mother was unwell. She was admitted into the ICU. That was very heartbreaking for me to see my mother suffer so much. On the days she was admitted to ICU, the visiting hours were 7 am – 8 am and 4 pm – 5:50 pm,” Ridhima recounted.

She further elaborated on the incident, saying, “I told him to keep me in the 9 am shift so that I could visit my mother and then come for the shoot or if he wants me to shoot at 7 am, then he must allow me to leave at 4 pm. I told him I could give extra hours but I wasn’t allowed. That was absolutely cruel.”

Ridhima emphasized that actors often remain silent about such issues due to the fear of losing work.
