The wife of former MP and Congress leader Manvendra Singh Jasol, son of senior BJP leader late Jaswant Singh, passed away on Tuesday in a tragic accident at Alwar in Rajasthan. According to police officials, Mr. Singh and his son, who were also in the vehicle involved in the collision, were hurt.
From 2004 until 2009, Mr. Singh, the late BJP stalwart Jaswant Singh’s son, served as the MP for Barmer. In 2018, he left the BJP and joined the Congress.
According to police, Chitra Singh, the wife of the former MP, died in the collision that happened on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway close to Khushpuri village. The driver of the car, Mr. Singh, and his son Solanki Singh were hurt and are receiving medical attention at an Alwar hospital.
“The car was headed from Delhi to Jaipur,” a police officer stated. According to doctors, the injured are not in any danger.”
According to Dr GS Solanki of the Solanki Hospital in Alwar, Mr Singh has rib fractures and injuries to his chest. “The accident was reported to us at around six o’clock in the evening, and the injured were brought in later. Chitra Singh was brought dead on the spot. Manvendra Singh has experienced rib fractures, chest injuries, and pneumothorax, or an accumulation of air around the lungs.”
“Mr Singh is being given blood. He is conscious and has suffered no head injuries. As of now, he is out of danger, but he will be kept under observation. His son has suffered minor injuries,” the doctor added.
