PCS has hired four hockey players: Gurjant Singh, Hardik Singh, Simranjit Singh, and Rupinder Pal Singh.

Mann stated that if athletes do well in international competitions, the state government will guarantee them a job.

He stated during an event that promoting sports culture can be the state government’s most effective drug-fighting tool. Mann continued, “This will significantly contribute to lifting the state’s drug curse and establishing youth as an equal partner in Punjab’s social and economic development.”
