Foreign Ministry Secretary Tanmay Lal said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tianjin, China to attend the 25th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Council (SCO) on August 31 and September 1. He may also hold some bilateral meetings. The main objective of the SCO is to fight terrorism, separatism and extremism. The SCO includes 10 countries.
