Pavitra Jayaram, an actress known for her roles in popular shows such as “Trinayani” and “Tillottama” met with a tragic end on Sunday when her car, en route to Hanakere in Mandya district, Karnataka, collided with a bus near Mehboob Nagar in Hyderabad.

The accident, which claimed Pavitra’s life, also left her sister Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor Chandrakant seriously injured. Reports indicate that Pavitra’s car lost control, striking a divider before being hit by the oncoming bus. Despite immediate medical attention, Pavitra succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
