Delhi Police have escalated their efforts in the search for Gurucharan Singh, renowned for his role as Roshan Sodhi in the popular television series “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” (TMKOC). Singh, who was last seen on April 22, was reported missing by his father four days later, sparking concerns over his whereabouts.

According to sources cited by Hindustan Times, a team of police officials from Delhi has arrived in Mumbai to conduct inquiries into Singh’s disappearance. The investigation will involve questioning TMKOC cast members, along with Singh’s family and friends, to piece together crucial information regarding his state of mind and recent activities.

Speculation has arisen regarding Singh’s motives, with media reports suggesting that he may have orchestrated his own disappearance. Allegedly, Singh left his phone in the Palam area of Delhi and was captured on CCTV footage moving between e-rickshaws, suggesting premeditation in his actions.

TMKOC co-stars, including Jennifer Mistry, Samay Shah, and Mandar Chandwadkar, have expressed deep concern over Singh’s disappearance, urging for his safe return. Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s producer, described the situation as “painful” and “shocking.”
