PM Narendra Modi arrived in Karnataka on Friday and held a roadshow in Udupi. He then visited the Sri Krishna Matha to recite the Gita. This is a devotional gathering in which approximately 100,000 people will recite the Bhagavad Gita simultaneously. In Udupi, the PM will also inaugurate the Golden Pillar and dedicate a golden shield prepared for the sacred Kanakna Kindi. The PM will leave for Goa in the evening.
